Description

The Moxa ioLogik R1212 is an RS-485 remote I/O module with 8 digital inputs and 8 software-configurable DIO channels, designed for industrial monitoring and control. It communicates over Modbus RTU as a slave device, making it straightforward to bring field signals into PLC, SCADA and DCS systems, and it operates across a -10 to 75°C temperature range.

Two RS-485-2w ports with a built-in repeater support redundant wiring and dual-PC backup topologies. Screw-fastened Euroblock terminals handle I/O and power connections, and the module mounts on a DIN rail or a wall. Communication parameters and firmware can be configured over USB, and the free ioSearch utility gives quick access to device status and settings.
