Description

The Moxa ioLogik R1212-T is a wide-temperature RS-485 remote I/O module with 8 digital inputs and 8 configurable digital input/output channels, communicating over Modbus RTU. Rated for operation from -40 to 85°C, it suits industrial edge connectivity in harsh environments such as outdoor cabinets, factory floors and utility installations.

The digital inputs support wet contact (NPN/PNP) and dry contact signals and can be used as event counters at up to 2.5 kHz. The DIO channels can be freely configured as inputs or outputs, and two RS-485 ports allow the module to be daisy-chained. It runs from a 12-48 VDC supply and mounts on a DIN rail or wall using terminal block connections.
