Description

The Moxa ioLogik E2260 is a smart Ethernet remote I/O unit with 6 RTD input channels and 4 digital outputs, built for temperature monitoring and on-off control over a standard 10/100 Mbps network. This standard temperature model operates from -10 to 60C and is suited to factory, process and building automation where several temperature points must be read and acted on from a single compact unit.

Front-end intelligence with Click&Go logic (up to 24 rules) lets the unit react locally and send active messages by SMS, SNMP trap, TCP or email without waiting on a central controller. Modbus TCP and SNMPv1/v2c/v3 support make it straightforward to integrate with SCADA, PLC and monitoring systems, and DIN-rail or wall mounting simplifies installation in a control cabinet.

Features

- Front-end intelligence with 24 Click&Go logic rules
- Active messaging with real-time stamp via SMS, SNMP trap with I/O status, TCP and email
- Supports SNMPv1/v2c/v3 for network management
- Modbus TCP server (slave) for SCADA and PLC integration
- I/O peer-to-peer function
- Built-in web console for configuration
- PC utility with auto detection of installed modules
- Windows/WinCE VB/VC.NET and Linux C APIs
- Compatible with MX-AOPC UA Server and MXIO software
- Plastic body design with DIN-rail and wall mounting

FAQs

Q: What type of inputs and outputs does the ioLogik E2260 provide?
A: It provides 6 RTD input channels for temperature sensing and 4 digital output channels. It has no analog I/O, relay outputs or thermocouple inputs.

Q: What is the operating temperature range of this model?
A: The standard ioLogik E2260 operates from -10 to 60 C. A separate -T variant covers -40 to 75 C for harsher environments.

Q: Which protocols does the ioLogik E2260 support?
A: It supports Modbus TCP (server/slave), SNMPv1/v2c/v3, TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, BOOTP, HTTP, SNTP and SMTP, allowing integration with most SCADA and monitoring systems.

Q: What does Click&Go logic do?
A: Click&Go lets you build up to 24 local if-then rules on the unit itself, so it can trigger outputs or send alerts by SMS, SNMP trap, TCP or email without a central controller.

Q: What power supply does it require?
A: It runs from a 12 to 36 VDC power input and includes over-voltage protection at 45 VDC (typical).

Q: How is the ioLogik E2260 mounted and connected?
A: It mounts on a DIN rail or directly on a wall. Connectivity is via one 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 Ethernet port, with a 1 x RS-485 serial port on a terminal block.
