Description

The Moxa ioLogik E2212 is an Ethernet remote I/O unit with 8 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs and 4 software-configurable DIO channels, rated for -10 to 60°C operation. It suits factory and building automation where field signals need to be brought onto an Ethernet network over Modbus/TCP, with Click&Go front-end control logic handling up to 24 rules locally.

The unit includes a 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port and an RS-485-2w serial port for Modbus/RTU. It supports active messaging to MX-AOPC UA Server, smart alarm management via email, SNMP Trap, TCP and UDP, and browser-based configuration. The MXIO library for Windows and Linux simplifies integration, and DIN-rail or wall mounting keeps installation flexible.
