Description

The Moxa ioLogik E1214 is a remote Ethernet I/O module with 6 digital inputs and 6 Form A power relay outputs, designed for industrial automation and remote monitoring. This standard temperature model (-10 to 60 C) suits control cabinets and plant environments where field signals need to be brought onto an Ethernet network.

Two built-in 10/100BaseT(X) switch ports allow units to be daisy-chained, reducing cabling and switch port requirements. It supports Modbus TCP Server, EtherNet/IP Adapter, SNMP v1/v2c and a RESTful API, with MXIO library support for Windows and Linux and active push communication to SCADA systems via MX-AOPC UA server.

Features

- Two-port Ethernet switch for daisy-chain topologies
- Peer-to-peer communication between I/O units
- User-defined Modbus/TCP addressing
- MXIO library for Windows and Linux
- SNMP v1/v2c support for network management
- Active push communication to SCADA with MX-AOPC UA server
- Flexible DIN-rail or wall mounting

FAQs

Q: How many inputs and outputs does the ioLogik E1214 provide?
A: It provides 6 digital inputs and 6 Form A (normally open) power relay outputs.

Q: What are the relay contact ratings?
A: Each relay is rated for a 5 A resistive load at 30 VDC, 250 VAC or 110 VAC.

Q: Can I daisy-chain multiple units?
A: Yes. The two built-in 10/100BaseT(X) RJ45 switch ports allow units to be daisy-chained, which reduces cabling and switch port usage.

Q: Which protocols does it support?
A: Modbus TCP Server, EtherNet/IP Adapter, SNMP v1/v2c, a RESTful API and Moxa AOPC Active Tag, plus the MXIO library for Windows and Linux.

Q: What power supply does it need?
A: It operates from a 12 to 36 VDC input.

Q: What operating temperature range does this model support?
A: This standard model operates from -10 to 60 C. Wide-temperature versions of the series are separate SKUs.
