Description

The Moxa ioLogik 2542 is a smart Ethernet remote I/O unit with 4 analog inputs and 12 software-configurable DIO channels, built for distributed monitoring and control in industrial automation. Click&Go Plus front-end control logic lets the unit run local rules without a dedicated PLC. This standard-temperature model operates from -10 to 60°C.

A built-in 4-port 10/100 Ethernet switch with Ethernet bypass allows daisy-chain wiring, while two serial ports (RS-232/422/485) support Modbus RTU master connectivity. It supports Modbus TCP, RESTful API, MXIO library and Moxa AOPC, and is configured through a web console or the IOxpress Windows utility. The unit accepts 12 to 48 VDC and mounts on a DIN rail in an IP30 metal housing.
