Description

The ioLogik 2542-HSPA is a smart cellular remote I/O unit for industrial monitoring and control over HSPA networks. It combines 4 differential analog inputs with 12 software-configurable digital I/O channels, and runs from a 9 to 48 VDC supply across a -10 to 60 C standard operating range. It suits remote sites where wired backhaul is impractical.

A built-in 4-port unmanaged Ethernet switch and two RS-232/422/485 serial ports let it bridge local devices to the cellular link. Click&Go Plus logic provides front-end intelligence at the edge, converts Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP, and supports alarm notification, datalogging and I/O expansion with ioLogik E1200 units.

Features

- Click&Go Plus logic for front-end intelligence and local control
- Transforms Modbus RTU into Modbus TCP or Active Tags
- I/O expansion port for daisy-chaining up to 8 ioLogik E1200 units
- Built-in datalogger with FTP server and micro SD support up to 32GB
- Alarm methods include email, SNMP traps, TCP and UDP
- Supports Modbus/TCP, TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, BOOTP, SNMP, HTTP, CGI, SNTP and SMTP
- Peer-to-peer I/O communication via IOxpress setup
- Software-selectable voltage or current analog input modes
