Description

The ANT-WSB5-PNF-16 is a 5 GHz single-band directional WLAN panel antenna delivering 16 dBi of gain across the 5.15 to 5.85 GHz band. It is built for outdoor wireless links and access point coverage where a focused, high-gain beam is needed, with a female N-type connector for straightforward connection to compatible radios and access points.

The IP65-rated white PC and ABS radome protects the antenna in harsh conditions, and it operates from -40 to 85°C. Pole mounting supports flexible installation, while vertical polarisation, a 30° horizontal and 23° vertical beamwidth, and a 50 ohm impedance suit industrial wireless deployments.

Features

- High-gain 16 dBi directional panel design for focused 5 GHz coverage
- N-type (female) connector for connection to compatible radios and access points
- IP65-rated radome suited to outdoor deployment
- Wide operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C
- Pole mount installation
- Vertical polarisation with 30° horizontal and 23° vertical beamwidth

FAQs

Q: What frequency band does the ANT-WSB5-PNF-16 cover?
A: It covers the 5 GHz WLAN band, from 5.15 to 5.85 GHz. It is a single-band antenna and does not support 2.4 GHz.

Q: What connector does this antenna use?
A: It has a female N-type connector with 50 ohm impedance. Your access point or radio needs a matching N-type (male) cable or connection.

Q: Is this antenna suitable for outdoor use?
A: Yes. It has an IP65 rating, a PC and ABS radome, and an operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C.

Q: How is the antenna mounted?
A: It is designed for pole mounting.

Q: What is the beamwidth and polarisation?
A: The half-power beamwidth is 30° horizontal and 23° vertical, with vertical polarisation. This makes it a directional antenna for point-to-point or sector-style coverage.

Q: What is the maximum power handling?
A: The antenna handles up to 10 W (max.) with a VSWR of 1:2.0 max.
