Description

The Moxa AIG-302-AP-AZU-LX is a programmable industrial IoT gateway built for the Asia-Pacific region, with an APAC LTE module and Azure IoT Edge ready to run out of the box. It connects Modbus RTU/ASCII and Modbus TCP devices to Azure cloud services and generic MQTT platforms, making it a practical edge gateway for remote monitoring, data collection and protocol conversion in industrial sites.

An Arm Cortex-A7 dual-core 1 GHz processor runs Moxa Industrial Linux (Debian 11), with dual Gigabit Ethernet, two software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports, CAN, digital I/O and an mPCIe slot for expansion. Redundant 12-48 VDC power inputs, a metal IP30 housing with DIN-rail mounting and TPM v2.0 with secure boot suit it to demanding standard-temperature industrial deployments.

Q: Which cloud platforms does the AIG-302-AP-AZU-LX support?
A: It comes pre-loaded with Azure IoT Edge and the Azure IoT Device client, and also includes a generic MQTT client for other MQTT-based platforms. Azure IoT Edge v1.4.20 is supported.
