Description

The Moxa 86M-5250-T is a rugged CAN interface I/O module for the ioPAC 8600 Series (86M) modular controller and I/O platform. It provides 2 isolated CAN ports on DB9 male connectors and supports CAN 2.0A, CAN 2.0B and CANopen DS301 V4.02, making it well suited to industrial automation, rail and other harsh-environment deployments that need reliable CAN bus connectivity.

The module operates across a wide -40 to 75°C temperature range, supports baudrates from 10 kbps to 1000 kbps plus user-defined rates, and delivers 3k VDC isolation. It carries railway EN 50121-4 and EN 50155 certification alongside UL 508 approval, and is tested to shock and vibration standards, so it fits control cabinets and rolling stock where reliability is critical.
