Description

The Moxa 86M-5212U-T is a rugged ioPAC 8600 Series 2-port 2-wire Ethernet switch module for industrial edge and rail connectivity. It uses Moxa's 2-wire Ethernet technology to carry 10/100 Mbps Ethernet over existing 2-wire cable, and it operates across a wide -40 to 75°C temperature range.

The module connects to the ioPAC 8600 backplane Ethernet bus and adds networked I/O capability to the modular programmable controller. An Ethernet bypass function helps keep the Ethernet backbone running if a single ioPAC unit loses power, supporting resilient deployments in demanding environments.
