Description

The ioPAC 6500 Series (65M) 1-slot expansion backplane module is a conformal coated backplane for Moxa's modular Linux-based ioPAC 6500 RTU and controller platform. It hosts one expansion module and sits between the CPU and I/O backplane modules in the assembly sequence (power, communication, CPU, expansion, I/O), and is rated for operation from -40 to 75°C.

The backplane supports tool-free, hot-swap installation, and a 2 x 2 pin grid design prevents erroneous installation. Mounting is by DIN rail, or rack with an optional kit. The housing is plastic, and the unit carries a 5-year Moxa warranty period listed in the product specifications.
