Description

The ioPAC 6500 8-channel serial I/O module adds eight configurable RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485-2w serial ports to the Moxa ioPAC 6500 modular Linux-based RTU and controller platform. Conformal coating and a -40 to 75°C operating range make it suited to harsh industrial sites such as substations, oil and gas, and transport infrastructure.

The tool-free, hot-swap design lets technicians add or replace serial capacity in the field without rebuilding the controller. 3k VDC isolation between signal and system protects connected equipment, and the matching terminal block 65M-TB-5801-CT-T is required for wiring and is purchased separately.
