Description

The Moxa 45ML-5401 is an ioThinx 4500 Series serial interface I/O module that adds four software-selectable RS-232/422/485 serial ports to a modular advanced controller. Rated for -20 to 60°C standard-temperature operation, it suits factory automation, building automation and other industrial control cabinets where serial devices such as meters, PLCs and sensors must be integrated.

The module uses spring-type Euroblock terminals and DIN-rail mounting for tool-free installation and removal. It expands the ioThinx 4500 Series head module (ioThinx 4530), carries ATEX Class I Division 2 hazardous location approval, and is built to IEC shock and vibration standards. A wide-temperature sibling, the 45ML-5401-T, is available for -40 to 75°C environments.
