Description

The Juniper SRX340-SYS-JB is a 1U branch-office firewall and services gateway that combines stateful firewall, NAT, IPsec VPN, routing, MPLS and switching in a single platform. It delivers 4.7 Gbps of stateful firewall throughput and 600 Mbps of IPsec VPN throughput, with 16x 1GbE onboard ports (8x RJ-45 and 8x SFP), 4x MPIM WAN slots, 4GB RAM, 8GB flash and an internal AC power supply, and it ships with Junos Software Base.

The four Mini-PIM slots allow modular WAN connectivity such as T1/E1, VDSL2, 4G/LTE and 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi, so one chassis can adapt to different branch circuits. All 16 onboard ports are MACsec-capable, and the platform supports up to 256,000 concurrent sessions, 64 security zones and 64 virtual routers. Supported routing protocols include OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, L2/L3 VPN and VPLS.
