Description

The SRX340 is a 1U branch firewall and services gateway with 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports (8x RJ45 and 8x SFP) and four Mini-PIM slots for WAN expansion. It combines next-generation firewall security, routing, switching and WAN connectivity in a single Junos OS platform, making it well suited to midsize distributed enterprises and branch offices. This is the hardware-only SKU without a Junos software bundle, and it requires SRX340-SYS-JB or SRX340-SYS-JE to complete the system.

With 4 GB DRAM, 8 GB flash, up to 4.7 Gbps firewall throughput and support for 256,000 concurrent sessions and 1024 IPsec VPN tunnels, the SRX340 handles demanding branch workloads. Optional Mini-PIM modules add T1/E1, ADSL2/2+, VDSL2 and 3G/4G LTE connectivity, while an optional 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi module is also available.
