Description

The Juniper SFPP-10G-ZR-OTN-XT is a dual-rate 10G SFP+ optical transceiver for long-haul single-mode fibre links, supporting both 10GBASE-ZR Ethernet and 10G OTN operation at distances of up to 80km. It operates at 1550nm with a duplex LC connector, and the -XT variant is the extended temperature version, making it suited to demanding deployments where a standard-temperature optic is not enough.

This module is built to ITU-T and Juniper specifications rather than the IEEE 10GbE standard, and is designed for use in Juniper MX Series, PTX Series and T Series platforms. Digital optical monitoring support makes it practical for carrier, metro and data centre interconnect links that need visibility into optical performance.
