The Juniper SFP-GE80KT15R14 is a 1 Gigabit Ethernet bidirectional (BiDi) SFP transceiver for single-mode fibre links up to 80 km. It transmits at 1570 nm and receives at 1490 nm over a single fibre strand, which halves the fibre count needed for long-haul point-to-point links. This variant is rated for the standard 0 to 70 C temperature range.

As a BiDi optic it must be paired with the opposite-end module, SFP-GE80KT14R15 (Tx 1490 nm / Rx 1570 nm), at the far end of the link. It is designed for Juniper Networks switches and routers with SFP ports, and suits metro, campus backbone and carrier access deployments where fibre is limited.
