The Juniper SFP-GE40KT13R15 is a 1000BASE-BX Gigabit Ethernet BiDi SFP transceiver designed for UPLINK applications over a single strand of single-mode fibre (SMF) at distances up to 40km. Operating with a Tx wavelength of 1310nm and Rx wavelength of 1550nm, it eliminates the need for a second fibre strand — ideal for long-reach enterprise and service provider links where fibre infrastructure is limited. Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) enables real-time visibility into optical parameters for proactive fault detection.
