Description

The Juniper SFP-GE-TDM-E1 is a 1GE TPoP (TDM over packet) Smart Optic SFP transceiver for E1 circuit emulation. It connects over 120 Ohm twisted pair cabling using an RJ-45 connector at distances of up to 100 metres, making it suited to carrying legacy E1 TDM traffic across packet networks.

Built to an industrial temperature rating of -40 to 85 degrees C, this SFP is designed for demanding deployments such as exchanges, cabinets and remote sites. It is used with Juniper MX Series routers where TDM services need to be transported over an IP or Ethernet backbone.

Features

- TPoP Smart Optic for TDM/E1 transport over packet networks
- Industrial temperature rating for harsh environments
- RJ-45 connector for 120 Ohm twisted pair cabling
- Used in Juniper MX Series routers
