Description

The Juniper QSFP+ 40GBASE-LX4 transceiver delivers 40 Gigabit Ethernet over duplex LC fibre for Juniper routing platforms. It reaches 2 km on single-mode fibre, 100 m on OM3 multimode fibre and 150 m on OM4 multimode fibre, so one optic covers both campus and in-building runs without re-cabling to parallel fibre.

The module uses 1310 nm CWDM across four lanes in the hot-pluggable QSFP+ form factor, with a standard operating temperature range of 0 to 70 C. It is well suited to upgrading existing duplex fibre plants to 40G on supported Juniper routers.
