Description

The QFX5140-24CD8O-AO is a 1RU fixed-configuration QFX5140 data centre switch with 24 x 400GbE QSFP112 ports and 8 x 800GbE OSFP800 ports, delivering up to 16 Tbps of switching capacity. Built on the Broadcom Trident 5 ASIC, it suits leaf, spine and border-leaf roles in IP fabric, EVPN-VXLAN and AI/ML Ethernet fabrics. This SKU is the AC-powered model with AFO (front-to-back) airflow.

Flexible breakout options reach up to 160 x 100GbE, and two SFP28 ports provide management or lower-speed connectivity. The switch runs Junos OS Evolved for resiliency, programmability and automation, is supported by Apstra Data Center Director for intent-based networking, and offers front-panel PTP and external clock connections.
