Description

The QFX5120-48Y-AFO2 is a fixed 1U QFX5120 Layer 2/Layer 3 data centre switch with 48 x 1/10/25GbE SFP/SFP+/SFP28 downlink ports and 8 x 40/100GbE QSFP+/QSFP28 uplink ports. This AC-powered AFO2 variant uses front-to-back (airflow out) cooling for hot-aisle deployments, making it a strong fit as a leaf switch in 25GbE server access and EVPN-VXLAN fabrics.

It delivers 4 Tbps (bidirectional) switching capacity and latency as low as 800 ns, and runs Junos OS. Dual redundant, hot-pluggable 650 W AC/DC power supplies and fan modules support resilient operation, while breakout cables can increase 10GbE and 25GbE port density from the 40/100GbE ports.
