Description

The Juniper ORHS-800G-VR8-P is an 800GBASE-VR8 OSFP800 riding-heatsink (OSFP-RHS) optical transceiver for multimode fibre links up to 50 m. It uses 8-lane VCSEL PAM4 optics with dual MPO-12 APC connectors and is built for standard temperature operation from 0 to 70 C.

The riding-heatsink form factor is the cold-plate liquid-cooled variant designed for ORv3 chassis, making it suited to high-density top-of-rack and cluster interconnects. It supports 2x400G, 4x200G and 8x100G breakout modes and is qualified for Juniper PTX and QFX 800GbE-capable platforms running Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved.
