Description

This 1.6T OSFP1600 transceiver with a riding heat sink (RHS) delivers two independent 800GBASE-FR4 Ethernet interfaces from a single module over single-mode fibre up to 2 km. Dual duplex LC/UPC receptacles provide one duplex connection per 800G interface, making it well suited to high-density data centre and AI fabric deployments built on Juniper 800G and 1.6T platforms.

The module uses 8 x 200G PAM4 electrical lanes and is rated for standard temperature operation from 0°C to 70°C. The flat-top riding heat sink design supports chassis thermal management in dense port configurations, and Juniper 1.6T optics use concatenated FEC implemented on both the host device and the transceiver DSP.
