Description

The ORHS-1600G-DR8-2 is a 1.6T OSFP DR8 transceiver in the riding heat sink (RHS, flat-top) form factor, built for single-mode fibre links up to 2 km. It uses eight parallel SMF lanes, each carrying 200G PAM4, and has an MPO-16 interface with a standard 0-70°C operating range. It is designed for AI/ML fabrics, HPC interconnects and hyperscale data centre deployments on Juniper 1600G-capable platforms.

The flat-top RHS design suits liquid-cooled and cold-plate switch environments. The module supports breakout configurations such as 2x800G, 4x400G and 8x200G, and provides DOM/DDM diagnostics with CMIS management for real-time visibility of link health.
