Description

The Juniper EX4100-48MP-CHAS is a spare chassis for the EX4100 Series 48-port multigigabit PoE++ access switch, supplied chassis only with no fans or power supplies. The access ports comprise 16 x 100M/1G/2.5GbE and 32 x 10M/100M/1GbE ports with PoE/PoE+/PoE++ (802.3af/at/bt) support of up to 90 W per port when fitted with suitable power supplies. It is suited to campus and branch access layers that need Wi-Fi 6/6E access point density, IP cameras and other high-power PoE devices.

Uplink and stacking connectivity is provided by 4 x 10GbE and 4 x 25GbE ports, and Virtual Chassis supports up to 10 switches managed as a single device. The EX4100 platform adds EVPN-VXLAN to the access layer, group-based policy microsegmentation, MACsec AES256 encryption and cloud-ready management with Juniper Mist. Fans, power supplies and optics are sold separately.
