Description

The Juniper EX-SFP-1GE-T is a 1G copper SFP transceiver supporting 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet over Cat5 or better twisted-pair cabling, with an RJ-45 connector and a reach of up to 100m. It lets you add a copper Gigabit link to an SFP port on Juniper EX Series switches and other Juniper platforms with SFP ports, so short runs do not need fibre.

Built to the SFP Multi-Source Agreement footprint, the module is hot-pluggable and supports 10/100/1000BASE-T auto-negotiation in host systems with an SGMII interface. It does not provide digital diagnostics (DOM/DDM), making it a straightforward option for access-layer and short-reach copper uplink deployments.
