Description

The Aruba CX 6200M 48-port Class 6 PoE Layer 3 managed switch is built for branch, campus and SMB access deployments that need high-power PoE. This model delivers 36 x 1G Class 6 PoE ports plus 12 x SR5 (1/2.5/5G) multigigabit Class 6 PoE ports, with 60W available per port, and 4 x SFP+ ports for uplink or stacking.

Running the cloud-native AOS-CX operating system on a Gen7 ASIC, the switch offers non-blocking performance, VSF stacking of up to 8 units, and management locally, via Aruba Central or on-premises. Power supplies are modular and field-replaceable, with up to 1440W of PoE budget when fitted with two 1050W units. Power supplies are not included and at least one is required.

A: No. Power supplies are not included. At least one is required, and the switch supports the JL086A 680W and JL087A 1050W units across its 2 hot-swappable PSU slots.

Q: What is the maximum PoE budget?
A: Up to 1440W when fitted with two 1050W power supplies. Each of the 48 copper ports supports Class 6 PoE at up to 60W.

Q: How many multigigabit ports does this model have?
