Description

The HPE X130 10G SFP+ BiDi single-mode transceiver delivers 10 Gbps over a single strand of fibre for up to 10 km using an LC connector. This is the downlink (10-D) module, transmitting at 1330 nm and receiving at 1270 nm, so it is deployed as one half of a matched pair with the JL737A uplink (10-U) module at the remote end.

Bidirectional transmission over one fibre strand halves the fibre required for a link, which suits sites where fibre capacity is limited or expensive to extend. The hot-pluggable SFP+ form factor allows installation and replacement without powering down the switch, and the module is designed for HPE Networking Comware-based switches.
