Description

The X115 100M SFP LC BX 10-U transceiver is a 100 Mb/s small form-factor pluggable module that uses BiDi (BX) single-fibre transmission over a reach of 10 km. It is the upstream-side unit (BX 10-U) of a matched BX pair and connects with a standard LC fibre connector.

Because BiDi optics carry transmit and receive over a single fibre strand, they suit deployments where fibre pairs are limited and Fast Ethernet links need to be extended between sites or buildings. This module is intended for use with HPE 5130 EI Series switches and must be paired with the matching downstream (BX 10-D) unit at the far end of the link.
