The Aruba JD099B X120 1G SFP LC BX 10-D transceiver delivers 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet over a single fibre strand with a reach of up to 10km. Its bidirectional (BX) design transmits and receives on one fibre, halving the fibre count needed for long-distance links and suiting campus backbones and inter-building connections.

This is the downstream (-D) end of a matched BX pair and must be deployed opposite a corresponding upstream (-U) module to establish the link. It uses an LC connector and fits SFP ports on compatible Aruba and HPE switching platforms.
