The Aruba 5406R zl2 J9821A is a modular Layer 3 managed switch chassis built for enterprise campus and core deployments that need flexible port density and room to grow. The chassis provides 6 open zl module slots and 2 open power supply slots, so you can tailor the port mix to your network instead of buying a fixed-configuration switch.

This J9821A part is supplied as a chassis only. Interface modules and power supplies are selected separately, allowing you to scale access and uplink capacity, add PoE+ capable modules and introduce power redundancy as requirements change. It is part of the Aruba 5400R zl2 Series.
