Description

The FortiSwitch 324G is a Layer 2/3 managed access switch with 24 multi-gigabit 2.5GE RJ45 ports and 4 x 10GE SFP+ uplinks, in a non-PoE configuration. It is managed through a FortiGate via FortiLink, making it a good fit for secure access deployments where network and security policy are controlled from a single point. MACsec (IEEE 802.1AE) link-layer encryption protects data integrity and confidentiality between devices.

The 2.5GE access ports suit next-generation Wi-Fi access points and other multi-gigabit endpoints, while the SFP+ uplinks also accept 1GE SFP transceivers for flexible aggregation and core connectivity. A dedicated management port and RJ-45 console port are provided, and the 1 RU chassis mounts in a standard rack.
