Description

The Fortinet FN-TRAN-SFP+BD27 is a 10GE SFP+ BIDI transceiver module designed for long-range single-fibre links of up to 30km over single-mode fibre. It transmits at 1271nm and receives at 1331nm through a single LC connector, allowing a full 10 Gbps link over one strand of fibre instead of a fibre pair.

This module is intended for systems with SFP+ slots and must be paired with the FN-TRAN-SFP+BD33 at the far end of the link, which is ordered separately. With an operating temperature range of -5°C to 85°C, it suits campus backbones, inter-building links and other long-distance deployments where fibre strands are limited.

Warranty

• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
