Description

The FN-TRAN-SFP-1BD40 is a 1 GE SFP BIDI transceiver module for long-distance single-fibre links up to 40km over single-mode fibre. It transmits at 1490nm and receives at 1310nm through a single LC connector, halving the fibre count needed for point-to-point campus, metro and inter-building runs.

This is the BD end of a matched pair and must be deployed with the complementary FN-TRAN-SFP-1BU40 at the far end, ordered separately. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, it suits harsh and outdoor-cabinet environments, and it is designed for Fortinet systems with SFP and SFP+ slots.
