Description

The FortiGate 81F-POE is a desktop next-generation firewall and secure SD-WAN appliance for small branch offices and distributed enterprise sites. It combines 8x GE RJ45 PoE ports, 2x RJ45/SFP shared media WAN ports and a 128GB SSD for local logging and storage, delivering up to 10 Gbps of firewall throughput on Fortinet's SoC4 security processor.

Built-in PoE+ with a 96W power budget lets you power access points, IP cameras and phones directly from the firewall, while FortiLink ports allow FortiSwitch management. It runs FortiOS as part of the Fortinet Security Fabric and supports FortiGuard security subscriptions and FortiCare support.

• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
