Description

This desktop next-generation firewall and SD-WAN appliance suits distributed enterprise sites that need DSL connectivity without a separate modem. It combines 8 x GE RJ45 ports, 2 x shared RJ45/SFP WAN ports and an embedded DSL module (RJ11, VDSL2/ADSL2+), delivering 1 Gbps NGFW throughput, 1.4 Gbps IPS throughput and 6.5 Gbps IPsec VPN throughput. This is the HA pair SKU, which must be bought in pairs so both units share a single service contract (Enterprise, UTP and ATP bundles only).

Running FortiOS with Fortinet SoC processors and AI/ML-powered FortiGuard security services, it converges firewalling, SD-WAN and ZTNA enforcement in a fanless, silent chassis that can be desktop, wall or rack-tray mounted. It supports Active-Active and Active-Passive high availability, up to 16 managed FortiSwitches and up to 96 FortiAPs, and integrates into the wider Fortinet Security Fabric.

Fortinet provides robust warranty coverage for its hardware and software products, with durations and terms based on product category:
• Hardware Warranty: All Fortinet hardware products come with a 1-year (365 days) limited warranty from the Warranty Start Date, covering material defects in workmanship when compared to the published Functional Specifications.
• Software Warranty: Fortinet software is warranted for 90 days from the Warranty Start Date. An exception is FortiToken, which carries a 1-year warranty.
• Limited Lifetime Warranty Products:
Some products are covered by extended terms:
o FortiAP and FortiSwitch (excluding FortiSwitch-5000 series) include a limited lifetime warranty valid for 5 years beyond the product’s announced end-of-life date.
o FortiSwitch-5000 series is covered under the standard 1-year hardware warranty.
