Description

The Arista SFP-25G-MR-SR is a 10/25G dual rate SFP28 transceiver for multimode fibre at 850nm with a duplex LC connector. It reaches 70m over OM3 and 100m over OM4 at 25G, and 300m over OM3 and 400m over OM4 at 10G, making it well suited to short-reach top-of-rack and in-row data centre links where a single optic must serve both speeds.

Because it supports both 25G and 10G operation, this module lets you migrate from 10G to 25G server and switch uplinks without changing optics. It interoperates with 10G-SR optics when operated at 10G, and it is hot swappable for simple servicing with a maximum power consumption of 1.5W.
