Description

This 25G/10G dual-rate SFP28 transceiver is built for single-mode fibre links up to 10km. It operates at 1310nm over duplex SMF (G.652) with an LC connector, and supports both 25GBASE-MR-LR and 10G operation, so one optic covers 25G server and switch uplinks as well as 10G deployments.

The module complies with IEEE 802.3 Ethernet and SFP MSA standards, and interoperates with 10G-LR optics when operated at 10G. Attenuation may be needed when linking to legacy fixed-rate 10G optics, and proper optical attenuation is required on shorter links to protect the receiver.
