Description

This rate-adapting SFP+ transceiver pairs a 1000BASE-LX optical interface with a 10G host interface, so a 1G LX fibre link can terminate on a 10G SFP+ port on supported Arista platforms. It runs at 1310 nm over duplex single-mode fibre (SMF G.652) for up to 10km and uses an LC duplex connector.

The module also supports up to 550m over multimode fibre, with a maximum power consumption of 2W. Rate-adapting optics are supported only on specific Arista platforms, so check the Arista Transceiver and Cable Guide for compatibility before deployment.
