Description

The Arista SFP-100M-FX is a 100BASE-FX SFP transceiver for Fast Ethernet links over multimode fibre. It operates at 1310nm and reaches up to 2km over 62.5/125 um or 50/125 um MMF via a duplex LC connector, and uses an SGMII electrical interface for compatibility with Arista switch SFP ports.

This hot-pluggable module suits campus and building backbone links, legacy 100 Megabit fibre runs and edge uplinks where gigabit optics are not required. Optical transmit power of -20 to -14 dBm and receive power of -8 to -31 dBm support dependable short-reach fibre connections, while maximum power consumption is 1.5 W.
