Description

The Arista QSFP-40G-SRBD-R is a 40GBASE-BIDI QSFP+ transceiver in a receiver-only variant, built for 40G links over duplex multi-mode fibre with LC connectors. It supports reaches of up to 100m over duplex OM3 or 150m over duplex OM4 fibre, so it suits data centre and campus deployments that want to reuse existing duplex cabling instead of moving to parallel MPO fibre.

This receiver-only version is distinct from the transmit-capable QSFP-40G-SRBD and is specified for applications that need the receive path only. It operates at 850nm / 900nm, is hot swappable, and complies with the QSFP+ MSA and IEEE 802.3 Ethernet standards, with a maximum power consumption of 3.5W.
