The Arista QSFP-100G-ZR42 is a 100GBASE-ZR4 QSFP28 optical transceiver built for long-haul 100 Gigabit Ethernet links of up to 80km over duplex G.652 single-mode fibre (SMF) with an LC connector. It suits data centre interconnect and metro campus deployments where long reach is needed without additional transport equipment.

With Tx power of +2 to +7 dBm per lane and Rx power of -28.0 to -5.0 dBm per lane, the module draws a maximum of 5.5 W.
