Description

The Arista QSFP-100G-SWDM4 is a 100Gbps QSFP28 optical transceiver using Short Wavelength Division Multiplexing (SWDM4) technology to deliver full 100G connectivity over standard duplex multi-mode fibre. Transmitting across four 25Gbps wavelengths (850–940nm) on a single LC duplex connection, it supports link distances of up to 70m over OM3 or 100m over OM4 MMF — making it the ideal solution for data centre and campus upgrades where existing duplex fibre infrastructure is already in place.

Based on the SWDM-MSA industry standard, this transceiver is fully interoperable with other compliant 100G SWDM4 devices and eliminates the need for costly parallel multi-mode fibre cabling. It supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics, draws no more than 3.5W, and is hot-pluggable and QSFP28 MSA and IEEE 802.3bm compliant.
