Description

The Arista QSFP-100G-PSM4 is a 100GBASE-PSM4 QSFP28 transceiver with an MPO-12 APC connector, built for 100G links of up to 500m over parallel single-mode fibre. It operates at 1310 nm and supports dual-rate 100G/40G operation, making it a practical choice for data centre interconnects and leaf-spine uplinks where parallel fibre is already deployed.

The module follows the 100G PSM4 MSA and IEEE 802.3 standards, with a maximum power consumption of 3.5 W. Shorter links may require optical attenuation to protect the receiver, so confirm the link budget when planning deployments. It is designed for use in compatible Arista QSFP28 ports.
