Description

The QSFP-100G-ER1 is a 100GBASE-ER single-lambda QSFP transceiver for long-reach 100GbE links of up to 40km over duplex single-mode fibre. It operates at 1310nm and connects with a duplex LC interface, making it suited to metro, campus interconnect and data centre interconnect runs where 10km optics fall short.

The module uses SMF G.652 fibre and is designed for Arista 100G QSFP ports. Optical attenuation is required on shorter links to protect the receiver from permanent damage, so plan link budgets carefully when deploying across variable distances.
