Description

The Arista QSFP-100G-ER1 is a 100GBASE-ER1 QSFP28 optical transceiver delivering 100G single lambda transmission over duplex single-mode fibre at distances up to 40km. Using PAM4 modulation at 1310nm with an LC Duplex connector, it is purpose-built for extended-reach data centre and cloud interconnects where high-density 100G optics are required. The bundle includes a passive OSFP to 100G QSFP adapter, enabling deployment of this QSFP28 module in OSFP-ported switches configured for 100G operation.

Compliant with SFF-8636 and SFF-8679 MSA standards, the QSFP-100G-ER1 supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time visibility of optical parameters and is hot-swappable for minimal disruption during maintenance. Maximum power consumption is 4.5W, making it efficient for high-density deployments. Note: the included OSFP adapter does not support QSFP-DD or 200G QSFP modules.
