Description

The QDD-800G-2FR4 is an 800G QSFP-DD optical transceiver that operates as two independent 400GBASE-FR4 links in a single module. It uses two duplex LC connectors and reaches up to 2km over duplex G.652 single-mode fibre, making it well suited to 800G to 2x 400G breakout deployments in data centre and campus spine environments.

Each 400G channel interoperates with standard 400GBASE-FR4 optics, using wavelengths of 1271, 1291, 1311 and 1331 nm. The module has a maximum power consumption of 16W and an operating case temperature range of 0 to 70 C. It is available in QSFP-DD Type 1 and Type 2 mechanical forms.
