Description

The Arista QDD-400G-XDR4-S is a 400G QSFP-DD transceiver that carries four 100GBASE-FR lanes (400G-XDR4) over parallel single-mode fibre for distances up to 2km. It uses SN optical connectors, which sets it apart from the standard QDD-400G-XDR4 that uses MPO-12, and suits data centre and spine-leaf links that need 400G with 100G breakout.

The module operates at 1310nm over G.652 SMF and is optically interoperable with 4x 100GBASE-FR optics up to 2km, so one 400G port can fan out to four 100G links using duplex SN cabling. It is a hot-pluggable QSFP-DD module designed for Arista platforms, with a maximum module power of 12W.
