The Arista QDD-400G-VSR4 is a 400G QSFP-DD transceiver built for 400GBASE-VSR4 short-reach links over parallel multimode fibre. It uses an MPO-12 APC connector and operates at 850 nm, reaching up to 50m over OM4 multimode fibre, or 30m over OM3. It suits high-density data centre spine and leaf connections where 400GbE is needed between racks or rows.
